I bought a pair of snow socks for my Saab 93 last year and they were excellent.

One Saturday we had a big dump of snow and I put the socks on. Where I live it is quite hilly and of course not all of the roads are gritted.

Snowsocks were the ideal solution as they were very quick and easy to fit and unfit. A matter of about 30 seconds once you get the hang of it.

I saw many cars stuck or abandoned as I was driving along and managed to get up hills that even Range Rovers and 4x4’s were struggling on with no effort or wheel spin at all.

I would recommend these as an essential item to keep in your car boot to anyone.

Dear Sir, Thankyou for the pair of WeissSock wheel covers for my 1996 Ford Transit which paid for themselves the first day i bought them. I work at night on the railway and on setting off for work saw hundreds of cars stopped on the main road I had to join. I fitted the WeissSock, very simple and quick and made a detour via back roads that had snow, ice and hills to join the main road. They did not slip at all. My van is usually fairly empty, not used for commerce, which may have helped but I was very impressed, got to work so did not lose pay and these wheelcovers thus paid for themselves.
