and need a different size or type, you can take
advantage of the unique Weissenfels snow
chain exchange service Please note that this
is only applicable to the WeissSock
being in new unused condition.

Weissenfels
new WeissSock
tyre socks are really convenient
to use. Unlike snow chains grip is provided by an
all covering textile surface with no metal parts
being used. It's big advantages are  that,
provided there is sufficient hand room to pull them
over the top of the tyre, it is extremely quick
and simple to fit. There is nothing to chafe around
the back of the tyre making them ideal for cars
with limited clearances around the wheel. Fitting
is also made easier since there is nothing to adjust
and they automatically self center as you drive.
Since there is no metal chain in contact with the
road, the WeissSock
is totally smooth running with absolutely no vibrations
or noise being apparent.
Removing WeissSocks
is simply a matter of pulling
to the ground and driving off them.
We thoroughly
recommend the WeissSock
as a cost effective, highly efficient and easy to
use gripping aid that is ideal for use on most snow
conditions. In our opinion, the WeissSock
gives amazing traction. However, as with using snow
chains, efficiency is greatly enhanced if WeissSocks
are fitted to all four tyres. The resulting grip
is quite unbelievable!
It is important
to be aware that, so far, this type of product is
not necessarily regarded as legally acceptable in
European ski resorts. Therefore, in our opinion,
the ideal solution is to take WeissSocks
but also carry a pair of snow
chains should the conditions or local legislation
demand them to be used.
