Whether to buy or rent?

Is it best to buy or rent? This is a question we are asked many times over. In our opinion, there are many good reasons to buy since you have the advantage of having plenty of time to practice fitting, they are always at hand for any eventuality and by taking advantage of our excellent exchange service you can always exchange at low cost when changing a vehicle.

However renting is also a sensible option. There's no initial cost of buying and the chains we rent are all very reasonably priced. They can either be delivered (normally three or four days before your holiday to give ample time to try them on) or they can be collected from our premises, which conveniently is only 5 minutes from the M20 and M26 Motorways en-route to the Channel Tunnel/Dover. We also have a 24 hour drop off facility for returning chains.

What's the cost of renting?

Whatever the size, make and model of car, 4x4 or minibus, we will have chains available to rent. Our snow chain rental charges are all very reasonable, with prices starting at only £24.95 for up to 16 days. We also have the special Newtech 9 low profile chains available specifically for cars with minimum wheel clearances.
