Weissenfels Klack & Go "Quattro"
fitted to an Audi A6

The new Klack & Go "Quattro" snow chain from Weissenfels has been designed specifically for easy ultra quick fitting to cars that, for any reason, cannot normallly have traditional snow chains fitted. The Quattro is also ideal for cars, such as Audi's BMW's and Mercedes etc., with extra wide wheels and restricted access around the wheel arches and behind the wheels.

In particular, the features that makes the Weissenfels Klack & Go "Quattro" so special is that the chain does not protude beyond the tread of the tyre, (see the above image) so any obstructions such as brake parts, steering arms and suspension struts, on the inside of the wheel, are totally unaffected. What's more to fitting and removal is done completely from the front of the tyre, in a matter of seconds!

Fitting the Klack & Go "Quattro" just couldn't be simpler. Having initially adapted the "Quattro" to your tyre size (a once only operation)* see below. An adapter is simply attached to one of the car's wheel nuts. The Klack & Go "Quattro" is then placed over the top of the tyre. the unique Klack & Go auto-tensioning system will automatically position the chain on the tyre whilst you drive forward with centrifugal force taking over and correcting and maintaining its position on the tyre as you drive. Since the Klack & Go "Quattro" doesn't have actual contact with the wheel, there is no risk of damaging alloy wheels.
