Klack & Go "Quattro" - the automatic self-centering and self-tensioning snow chain with no parts at the rear of the tyre!

The amount of grip provided by the Klack & Go "Quattro" is simply amazing, which is due to the unique combination of a traditional snow chain pattern, special steel grip spreader traction plates and a series of intergrated ice studs strategically spaced in four places.

The all new Klack & Go "Quattro" snow chain from Weissenfels has been designed specifically for easy ultra quick fitting to cars that, for any reason, cannot have traditional snow chains fitted. The Quattro is also ideal for cars with extra wide wheels and especially those with restricted access around the wheel arches.

In particular, the features that makes the Weissenfels Klack & Go "Quattro" so special is that the chain does not protude further behind than the top of the tyre tread, (see the above image) so any obstructions such as brake parts, steering arms and suspension struts, on the inside of the wheel, are totally unaffected. What's more all of the fitting is done from the front of the tyre in a matter of seconds!

Fitting the Klack & Go "Quattro" just couldn't be simpler. Having initially adapted the "Quattro" to your tyre size (a once only operation)* see below. An adapter is simply attached to one of the car's wheel nuts. The Klack & Go "Quattro" is then placed over the top of the tyre. Having checked that it is place, the legendary Klack & Go auto-tensioning system will automatically position the chain on the tyre whilst you drive forward with centrifugal force taking over and correcting and maintaining its position on the tyre as you drive. The unique "Quattro" carrying case can be separated for easy storage in the boot of a car Not only has considerable attention to detail gone in to the design of the Klack & Go "Quattro" but also to the accompaning carrying case which holds both chains in separate compartments. For easy handling there is a choice of either storing in separate units or zipped together to make one unit as shown above. The overall dimensions of each bag is 28cm x 22cm x 20cm.

* Since each size of "Quattro" snow chains fits a vast range of tyre sizes, the "Quattro" must be pre adjusted to fit your tyres. We strongly recommend that this, once only initial operation, is completed in advance and not by the side of the road in the snow!
